It is amazing how different programs get released very so often nowadays. Gone are the days when it took months before a particular kind of software could be released.

But what happens is that we install several programs that we no longer find useful by then end of a few months because a new program has just arrived to the stands.

Although there is nothing wrong with changing programs often, the only problem that comes out of this is the uninstallation of the old programs.

I have often found myself getting frustrated over how programs that I have just uninstalled are still part of my applications list. Deleting them or using Windows to remove them never seems to work.

While browsing through several reviews, I encountered Perfect Uninstaller. What Perfect Uninstaller claims to do is to completely uninstall any program so that one no longer has to go through the frustration of having files of programs that are already uninstalled.

When I learned about the software, I had a program problem of my own so I decided to give Perfect Uninstaller a try.

Because the program file is only 1.7mb, I didn’t spend too much time waiting for the file to finish saving. Although the download speed may depend on the kind of internet connection that one has.

Finally, when you get to install the program, go to the main screen. On the topmost section of the screen is the main toolbar.

The toolbar contains icons that have specific functions. The first icon is the uninstall icon is used to uninstall any kind of program via the traditional manner.

The next icon is the force uninstall icon. This will allow a user to uninstall a stubborn program from one’s computer if the traditional route fails to be successful. I used this feature to solve my program problem

Finally, the last uninstall icon is the special uninstall which is to be used to uninstall programs that need to be removed through “special means”.

This feature includes a list of programs that need to be uninstalled that way regardless of whether the programs are installed in your computer or not.

Technology has given rise to inventions such as the computer and the internet. All these things are seen as necessities in the very fast paced life that we live in. We rely on computers and the internet for a slew of things that we have to get done.

However, there is a lot that we have to understand with these useful gadgets.

What we hardly know is that every time we surf the internet and log in sensitive information, our computer actually stores all of that in our hard disk.

Because we do not find these files in our desktops, we do not really know of such things.

And it does not stop there, our computers also store information that we save in our computers offline. Even if we try to delete these files from our recycle bins, a back up copy of the file is stored in our hard disk somewhere which is just waiting for someone to discover it.

I do not think that I have to narrate how seriously detrimental it would be to have information fall into the wrong person’s hands, especially with all the identity theft going on at the moment.

If you are somebody who shares his computer with somebody else, you will have to do something to make sure that none of your personal information leaks out to other people.

The good thing about this is that there is a remedy that is simple enough.

All that you have to do is to install an evidence eraser program in your computer which scans your system for files that you want removed and deletes them completely so that you can no longer find traces of these files. Even the government uses this program to clean their computers.

Another benefit of having an evidence eraser is that it can empty out history folders such as the internet history and history of opened documents. More so, it can clean out the internet cache and temp files, and even shred sub folders.

[ad#250 x 250 Sqr Adsense]With computers becoming more and more invaluable, software development has become more efficient. This leaves us with programs installed in our computer that get outdated in just a matter of a few months.

The only problem is that when it comes to uninstalling these programs, sometimes it becomes such a trouble to do so.

There have been so many instances when I try to uninstall a program but the next time I turn my computer on, I still see the program in my applications list.

Even when we try to delete those files, they somehow find their way back to our systems. Even using Windows to uninstall those programs leads only to frustration.

Lately, I encountered a program called Perfect Uninstaller. What this programs claims to do is to successfully remove all those programs that cannot be uninstalled the conventional way.

I was having a problem with this internet messaging program that I wanted to downgrade so I decided to purchase Perfect Uninstaller with the intention to test it out on that specific program.

I was able to download the program file at such fast speed since it was only a 1.7M file but I think the speed would also depend on the internet connection.

The installation process was also a breeze. Once you get the program running, you’ll notice a toolbar on top of the program’s main screen with icons that carry specific functions.

The first icon that you have to be acquainted with is the uninstall icon. This function will allow you to uninstall any program the traditional way.

The second icon, on the other hand, id the force uninstall icon and will use force to uninstall any stubborn program out of your computer system. I have used this feature to remove the program that I had a difficulty uninstalling.

Special uninstall is an option provided by Perfect Uninstaller for those programs that have specific methods of being uninstalled.

The list includes programs that may or may not be installed in your computer.

Today, virtually every business traveler considers a laptop as an essential part of their business belongings. While laptops add a certain element of convenience to the process, it also makes for potential difficulties posed by security risks. With potential hazards ranging from stolen equipment to compromised data on wireless networks, business travelers need to pay extra attention to security in the process.

Since every business traveler today is focused upon getting to their destination to take care of work, there are several steps you can take to ensure your data (and hardware) are safeguarded during the process. While there is no certainty when it comes to computer safety, the following tips for travelers can help you maximize your chances of returning to work with your data intact.

Protect Your Computer Hardware

At a basic level there are several physical and preventative steps you can take to protect your computer hardware. During the airport screening, be sure to always remain aware of where your laptop is and make sure people don’t skip in front of you. At the same time, you’ll always want to keep your computer close at hand so you can prevent any potential theft or loss on the road. Securing your physical hardware is an important first step in realizing success on the road.

There are also several tracking technologies you can use to help protect your laptop. There are both tracking technologies which can help identify the location of a lost computer, as well as encryption software that can prevent a loss of data in case of a stolen computer. For important documents, it’s crucial that you be able to prevent theft of your data even if you physically lose your machine. There are many retail applications that can help secure and encrypt all of your data.

Safeguard Your Network Connections

Nearly all hotels these days offer a free wireless connection, however most are still unencrypted making your data available to hackers. There are several steps you can take to ensure your data is secure even over public networks, which can add an additional layer of protection to your computer.

Look to a reputable Chicago computer repair company to help you install the appropriate applications to keep your data safe.
